SHYE GUAN PLASTIC INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. (452027-P), was established in 1997 in Ipoh, Perak. Our company is a leading player in the plastic recycling industry, specializing in the transformation of plastic scrap into high-quality plastic pellets. We are committed to reducing plastic waste and promoting a sustainable circular economy by offering reliable and eco-friendly solutions. With cutting-edge technology, expertise, and a strong focus on innovation, we contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the preservation of the environment. In 2017, we widely extended our recycling plant in Ipoh and appointed various factories to increase our production of plastic pellets volume to more than 5,000 MT/month. All the plants are operating under the approval of Department of Environment (DOE Malaysia). Shye Guan Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd also awarded an import permit of plastic scrap in year 2007.

At SHYE GUAN PLASTIC INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD., our mission is to provide comprehensive plastic scrap recycling services and produce premium plastic pellets for various industries. By maximizing the value of discarded plastics through efficient processes, we aim to minimize the environmental impact of plastic waste and foster a greener future.
Environmental Responsibility
We are deeply committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability. By recycling plastic scrap into pellets, we significantly reduce the need for virgin plastic production, thereby conserving energy and natural resources. Additionally, our recycling processes comply with all relevant environmental regulations, ensuring minimal emissions and waste generation.
We had been awarded ISO 14001 (Environment Management) in year 2018, to ensure our growing as sustainable organization with environment management at the heart of our operations. This international standard will assist us to reduce environmental impact and reduces waste and energy use with better environment management.
Commitment to Quality Management
We are awarded ISO 9001 (Quality Management) in recent 2023. We committed to continual improvement in our quality performance and customer satisfaction by exceeding customers’ requirement & fulfil all legal requirement. To achieve this, we shall be providing quality services to our customer and prompt service to fulfil all customer enquiry & requirement at higher satisfactory level. Besides, we are also in planning to get recycled content of products related certification, such like GRS (Global Recycled Standard), SIRIM Eco-Labelling (SIRIM ECO 018:2017 Recycled Plastic Products).
Contribution to Manufacturing Sector and Society
As our Managing Director, Dato’ Yoon Jun Sheng (B. Eng (Hons)) quoted, ‘We focus on green technology to bring profit to stakeholder, but as human responsibility, we need to actively promote the plastic recycling and reused resources. We committed to work closely with local government agencies to promote Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (3R)’. YOON also active as associate member in Malaysia Plastic Recycling Association (MPRA) and as Central Committee member in Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA). Moreover, YOON’s expertise is highly sought after, and he frequently shares his invaluable’ insights as a consultant, speaker, panelist, engaged with government agencies, international organizations, and local institutions to shed light on crucial topics such as the circular economy, the transformative impact of plastics recycling within the Malaysia market, various environmental and recycling forum.
